The Application
Refills Your existing lashes regrow over a period of 60-90 days, depending on the individual growth rate, which varies from person to person. This means that over a period of 3-4 weeks you will notice a subtle thinning in your grafted lashes. We know you will love your new look, so most of our clients are more than happy to follow our eyelash extension recommendations and book for a refill on the month. What you can expect from your first appointment. Our Just Lashes technicians are watchfully trained to recognise and understand the unique needs of each client we assist. Our objective is to help you achieve the look you dream about, and in order to help you do that safely we recommend that you read the few short paragraphs posted at the top of this page. Once we have established how best to define your features with your lash extensions, your personal technician will begin to weave her magic! Through experience, the Just Lashes consultants recommend the initial refill to take place within 2 weeks of your primary visit. It is important to us the existing and new clients share an understanding that those with sparse lashes will need more regular maintenance and that refills are recommended for these clients within 1-2 weeks. This means we can top up your look without damage to very new growth occurring within that time, and it is certainly the best way to protect your new beauty investment. We provide after care cards that teach you how to care for, maintain and protect your lashes after they are applied, so you can apply our professional care standards in your own home. Possible Reactions Occassionally we receive phone calls from clients that have reacted to eyelash extensions at other salons, this is due to the mucus membrane of the eye being irritated by the glue, clients see a puffiness and then a strong itch within 24-48 hours, if this is you, we recommend a removal. Just Lashes highly trained technicians have worked out a way to reduce this reaction to a minimum NB - we will not work on irritated eyes, you must let the allergy settle prior to booking with us Can I still use Mascara and Make up Removal products? Yes! But your regular chemical mascara will cause clumping and the chemicals used to compose it can actually dissolve the bonding agent we use.
